This started out listing only native web comics. And heck, K Chronicles has been online for >10 years, so it's at least naturalized :-). But given that the name of the card is the more general "Comics", i'd like to mention that i've been into comics since high school (thanks, RARD!). First, X-Men (mid-100s to early 200s) and other Marvel and a little DC, then Elfquest, Cerebus and other "alternative" stuff (really, more mainstream than the superhero sub-genre), such as Bone and Strangers in Paradise. And of course Watchmen, a classic different take on superheroes. Haven't been as into comics in the last bunch of years, but still very much appreciate the art form. I recommend Understanding Comics (Scott McCloud) to prompt deep thinking about it.
