I've been into comics since high school (thanks, RARD!). First, X-Men (up to the to early 200s) and other Marvel and a little DC. Then I got into American Flagg, Elfquest, Cerebus, and other "alternative" (non-superhero) stuff, such as Bone and Strangers in Paradise. And of course Watchmen, a classic different take on superheroes. I did read some Tintin and Asterix when I was younger.
Wasn't as into comics for many years, but webcomics, especially A Miracle of Science andSinfesSinfest got me into it again. I appreciate webcomics as a medium and an art form. I recommend Understanding Comics (Scott McCloud) to prompt deep thinking about comics in general.
